Questions about registration / payment

1. How much does it cost?

Individual lessons are a bit more expensive than group classes, but by far more efficient. On the other hand, since we don’t rent expensive classrooms, our lessons are cheaper than individual lessons from a traditional language school. See our price list for more details.

2. How can I pay?

After signing up for a course, we will send an invoice by e-mail. You can pay by bank transfer or PayPal.

3. How do I sign up?

Please contact us to schedule a free demo lesson. After your demo lesson we will contact you and prepare an offer to you which you can accept by e-mail.

4. When can I start?

Basically whenever you want.


Questions about the courses

1. How many lessons should I take per week?

We recommend 1-2 lessons per week. Private lessons are very intensive, and you will need time to repeat and do complete exercises on your own.

2. What happens if I have to reschedule a lesson?

You can reschedule lessons up to 24 hours prior to the beginning of a lesson by sending an e-mail to your teacher. Your teacher will then send suggestions for alternative lesson times.

3. Are course materials included?

Your instructor will send you the files you worked with after every lesson. Depending on your level and goals, it might be recommended to get a textbook. Your teacher can help you with selecting the right one.

4. Can I get a certificate after my course?

We can issue a certificate stating the number of lessons and your current level. We can also help you to prepare for an official exam, e.g. the Bergenstesten for Norwegian language.


Technical Questions

1. What do I need to participate?

All you need is a PC / Mac with a good internet connection and the free software Skype. We recommend to use a headset in order to have good sound quality. If you don’t have a headset or don’t want to use Skype, your teacher can also call you at a landline phone in selected countries.

2. How do I get into the virtual classroom?

For your first lesson, your teacher will call you on Skype (or telephone). He/she will also send you an e-mail invitation to the virtual classroom prior to every lesson. If you have problems getting into the classroom, your teacher can assist you.
