Video transcript

The letters ‘tj’ can be pronounced in two different ways. Either, the regular pronunciation where you move from ‘t’ through ‘i’ to the next letter. One example of this is tjene or tja. The sound is ‘tj’. Tjene, tja. Also, in a few words, the T-J is pronounced as the sound ‘kj’ such as in the word tjue and also in the word tjukk. If you are not familiar with the ‘kj’ pronunciation you can have a look at our other demonstration video which goes through how to make the sound ‘kj’.
